Traceable dimensions. Explicit limits.
What we collect
Manufacturer product pages and model-linked specification and installation documents provide the measurements. Each known catalog value records its source field, date, and document page when available. We keep appliance-body dimensions separate from cabinet-opening requirements.
How conflicting documents are handled
When one published dimensional envelope is stricter than another, we may screen against the stricter envelope, retain both claims and explain the decision. An opening that relies on the smaller alternative goes to installer review. We do not average dimensions or present the smaller figure as an unconditional fit.
Unresolved applicability or a conflict that prevents a coherent dimensional screen blocks the model. Examples include generic Summit manuals and GE PDD415PYYFS’s body-width mismatch. Unknown values stay unknown; adjustable body height does not automatically establish maximum opening height.
What a candidate means
A dimensional candidate meets the recorded constraints for the measurements you supplied. It does not verify mounting, utilities, floor level, trim, panel weight, door swing or site-specific installation. Optional front and corner measurements are checked only when the corresponding requirement is documented. A missing measurement or source is not a passed check.
How we compare and make money
Models are ordered by brand and model, independent of commissions. Color variants group only when their relevant measurements agree. Retailer links are ordered by retailer name. Links marked affiliate may pay us a commission; unmarked links are ordinary links. No paid placement changes the measurements, exclusions or ranking.
Coverage and updates
The initial catalog contains 31 model records across GE/GE Profile, Bosch and Summit. Seven records have received a closer manual review. This is a selected sample, not the whole market. We have not physically tested installation or appliance performance.
New crawls are stored as observations and compared before they change reviewed data. Retail listings indicate a product page exists; delivery, stock, price and installation eligibility must be checked with the retailer.
